On October 14^th, the 2020 Hunan University Student Electronic Design Competition (TI Cup) test experts seminar was held in Meeting Room 408 in Electrical Building. Professor Li Fuhai, the leader of the Responsible Expert Group of Hunan University Student Electronic Design Competition, from Hunan University, Professor Wu Xinkai, Secretary of the Organizing Committee, Responsible Expert, Professor Ku Xishu, Professor Song Xuerui, Professor Fan Shaosheng and Professor Chen Wenguang attended the meeting. 38 test experts from 38 peer colleges across the province attended the meeting. Mr. Li Junlin, vice president of HIE and director of the competition organizing committee, attended the meeting and made a speech. The meeting was presided over by Liu Dongbo, dean of College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Li Junlin pointed out that the school attaches great importance to innovation, pays attention to cultivating students’ innovative spirit and practical ability, and integrates innovation modules into the talent training plan, and has arranged a specialized innovation college to organize various innovation activities in school. Students from HIE have won many awards in various discipline competitions and innovation and entrepreneurship competitions at all levels. As the organizer of the 2020 Hunan University Student Electronic Design Competition (TI Cup), HIE will provide comprehensive organizational services. It is in the hope that test experts will complete testing work efficiently and orderly under the leadership of responsible experts and based on the principles of openness, fairness and justice.

Professor Li Fuhai explained the competition test discipline and related matters. He emphasized that as a competition test expert, we must take a highly responsible attitude to complete the test work conscientiously. To ensure a competition of fairness and justice, no test forms can be modified or altered and complete test process must be recorded.

Professor Wu Xinkai gave a briefing on the 2020 Hunan University Student Electronic Design Competition (TI Cup) competition, explained the test points of each contest question, and introduced the test standards and how to deal with the test work.

Afterwards, the competition test experts grouped to discuss the competition evaluation standards and test plans. It is reported that the competition test time is from October 15th to 18th. According to the distribution of colleges and universities in the province, the competition is divided into six test areas, each area is responsible for one test group, and each test group is composed of one responsible expert and test experts. The test experts carry out their work under the guidance of the responsible experts.
